"The owner of this household wants indicator would have flipped the tag next to a particular foodstuff that had run out to remind her to purchase some more when she next went shopping. Some of the products listed are no longer commonly used such as a bathbrick. This was made at Bridgwater from earth containing lime and used for cleaning polished metal. Isinglass is a whitish, semi-transparent and very pure form of gelatin which comes from the bladders of some freshwater fish. It was used for making jellies. Presented by Mrs M Chance, 1981."
